Ian Puleston-Davies


Meet BAFTA nominee Ian Puleston-Davies and listen to him talk about his new co-written film for ITV. The experienced actor has starred on screen in the likes of Coronation Street, Pennyworth and the latest Channel 5 drama 'The Teacher'.


Ian is a veteran of British television whose career spans almost four decades. Amongst his most recent credits are regular lead roles in Teacher (Channel 5), Pennyworth (Epix) and Tin Star (Sky Atlantic/Amazon). Other notable credits include The A Word, A Confession, Hatton Gardens, National Treasure, Marcella, I’m Alan Partridge, Life on Mars, Conviction, Funland and Coronation Street in which he was a regular between 2010 and 2015. Ian can soon be seen in Ray for ITV and as a regular role in series 25 of Silent Witness for the BBC.

In 2005 Ian co-wrote Dirty Filthy Love, a single film for ITV starring Michael Sheen which was nominated for a BAFTA.

Ian wrote and directed his first feature film, Bolan’s Shoes, in summer 2021. It stars Timothy Spall.
