Hear from award-winning digital agency, HeX Productions on the importance of accessibility in the creative industries.

At Confetti we’re committed to Championing Opportunity and Diversity.

Whether you’re from a design, web development, content editor or marketing background, in fact, anyone creating content for an online platform – it’s vital to understand how you can make changes to integrate accessibility into your work to make it accessible for all.

James Hall

Being a self-confessed geek, I fell in love with web development at an early age and knew that the web industry was for me.

15 years on and I’m the Creative Director for an award-winning digital agency, with clients from across the globe.

HeX Productions is all about integrating accessibility into the digital world, by removing barriers in digital technology that those with disabilities may face, and finding technology solutions to enable accessible information for everyone.

Our agency is leading the way in inspiring change and upskilling organisations, by changing the perception of web accessibility in our industry – whilst supporting, teaching and leading others on their journey.

We all like to see jazzy infographics, and eye-catching colours and typography on documents and sites, it’s just knowing how to structure these visuals in the correct way. There’s no downside to taking these steps in design, just the bonus of reaching more people and doing the right thing for equality.

Important: Sign-ups are only valid with your Confetti or NTU student email address. Compulsory group students do not need to book.

COMPULSORY GROUPS: B211 and B212 to attend online

This session will take place online via Zoom.
