About

Jo Hart has been in the business for over 30 years and there isn’t much about the music industry that she doesn’t know.

Following a successful four-year tenure as a radio plugger for EMI Records, Jo went to help set up the highly successful radio department for Size Nine Promotions. Following this, she decided to fly solo and created Hart Media in July 1997, making Hart Media 25 years this year!

Hart Media leads the way in National, Regional, Specialist, Student and Online Radio promotions. It hosts a strong, dedicated team and over the past year has contributed to the success of seven Top 10 UK albums for their clients.

Jo was inducted into Music Week’s ‘Women In Music’ and has championed a variety of successful artists such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, The Prodigy, Blondie, Jools Holland, Lola Lennox, You Me At Six, Papa Roach, Passenger, Pussycat Dolls, Kara Marni, Karen Harding, Usher, Alison Krauss, Enter Shikari, Gallows, Jamie Cullum, Feeder and more.

Jo continues to move from strength to strength in everything she takes on and has made an extremely respectable name for herself within the music industry.
