As a businessperson, Si has founded successful start-ups and worked with brands like Nike, Coca Cola, LBC, Sky, and Levi’s. He was Chair of Creative Brighton and a member of the city’s Economic Development Forum. In 2007, his fashion business won the prestigious Fashion Export Award.
As an academic, Si was previously a Principal Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, specialising in creativity and future skills. He has worked with thousands of students at NTU, as well as Solent University, London College of Fashion, & Central Saint Martins. Si was also seconded for two years, to improve collaboration and industry relationships across The School of Art & Design.
As a writer and industry commentator, Si has written for The Guardian, Vogue, Psychologies, and BA Business Life, as well as being a regular contributor to the BBC.
