Steve Albini is a world-renowned musician, record producer, audio engineer, and music journalist.

The American is the founder, owner and principal engineer of Electrical Audio, a recording studio complex in Chicago, USA.

In 2018, Steve estimated that he’s worked on several thousand albums during his career. Over the years, he has become a true legend in the world of alternative music for adopting traditional engineering skills during his work.

Famed for his views on the art of production and the flow of money in the industry, as well as a kick-ass studio sound, students will get an uncompromising insight into working with legends such as Nirvana, Pixies and PJ Harvey, to name just a few, and what it’s like to run a recording studio in 2021.
