The Brothers McLeod

Illustrators & Writers

The BAFTA-winning brothers – who have worked with Dreamworks, Disney, and Aardman to name a few – talk you through their career, managing personal projects alongside commercial ones.

About

The Brothers McLeod, Greg and Myles, are BAFTA winning creatives from the Midlands.

They are best known for their short animated films, including BAFTA nominated Codswallop (2009) and Marfa (2019). They have also worked in the commercial space, creating and show-running animated children’s TV show Circle Square for Channel 5’s Milkshake! They have worked across many different media and genres: short film, books, TV series, projections, poetry, comedy, experimental, drama.

The duo have also worked with Hollywood directors like Gus Van Sant and Edgar Wright, the Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as with some of the big children’s brands: DreamWorks, Disney, Aardman and more.

In this session, they’ll share top tips on that all-important question: how do you satisfy your own creative goals alongside working on commercial work and paying the bills?

Check out their website.

Important: Sign-ups are only valid with your Confetti or NTU email. Compulsory group students do not need to book.
