The Tileyard Songwriting Scholarship has been running since October for Music Performance and Audio and Music Technology final year students, with two places up for grabs on Tileyard’s songwriting camp in April. Previous camps have resulted in songs being picked up and placed across various TV shows, publishers and labels.
Head of A&R and Commercial Partnerships, Jamie Searls will lead a listening session of the shortlisted entrants, talk through what makes a successful commercial song, and choose the winners of the two scholarship places live! He’ll also chat about the Tileyard Masters in Commercial Songwriting and Production course, and be on hand to answer any questions about how you can progress your career as a songwriter in a highly competitive field.
