Michelle Humphreys and Aleta S. work behind the scenes at the National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, helping deliver some of the biggest live events in the East Midlands.
Michelle is a Senior Event Manager, overseeing the planning and delivery of a wide range of events across the venue. Working closely with promoters, touring crews and internal teams, she coordinates the many moving parts that make shows happen, from early planning through to live delivery on event day.
Aleta began working within the events team and has since progressed into the role of Operations Manager. Alongside venue events, she has also worked as a Merchandise Manager for National Merchandise at outdoor event sites across the UK, giving her hands on experience of large scale live environments from different angles.
Together, they bring real insight into what happens behind the scenes at a major arena, from logistics and production to team coordination and problem solving. During Industry Week, they will share what life is really like working in live events and what it takes to build a career in the industry.
