Jack is a freelance Visual Development Artist and Background Painter currently based in Nottingham, U.K.
After graduating in 2020 from his course in Illustration, Jack turned his focus away from the publishing industry and became increasingly obsessed with the animation industry.
Whilst working a part time job, Jack marketed himself as a freelance artist and spent any spare time learning about various roles in the animation pipeline, eventually enrolling on many online courses specialising in visual development and background painting.
Since then, he’s completed various creative projects which involve the publishing, theatrical and animation industries. This includes working with a Manchester based animation studio on their debut film and a local author on their series of published works.
