Gill started her career at Capital Radio, working her way up over 10 years to become Head of Entertainment. Gill was responsible for pulling together the first 100,000 capacity one-day music festival Party in the Park.
Leaving Capital she launched her own company, Entertee, producing countless high-profile events, including becoming festival director/producer for ‘The Hop Farm Festival,’ featuring iconic artists including ‘Neil Young,’ ‘Bob Dylan,’ ‘The Eagles,’ and Prince’s only UK Festival
She also co-founded Entertee Hire, a multi award-winning fencing supply company that has provided fencing for thousands of festivals across the UK, including BST Hyde Park, Boomtown, and Creamfields.
In 2018 Gill created a new festival from the ground up that was for all age groups —Black Deer Festival—for a genre she felt had growth. She has passionately advocated for Supajam colleges, which support young people aged 16 and older interested in music, many of whom are among the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in the UK. Supajam had its own stage at the festival, and Black Deer became part of the curriculum across their three colleges and provides work experience for them across all aspects of putting a festival on.
In 2024 Gill co-founded Black Deer Live and Black Deer Radio in order to leverage the festival brand and its values to provide opportunities for emerging artists, supporting grassroots venues in the process creating a platform year-round.
