Hayley Codd | Head of National Radio and Television Promo

After graduating from Manchester University with a degree in Multimedia Journalism, Hayley moved to London where she began her plugging career at LD Promotions. Her roster included The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Gary Numan, Iron Maiden and Fun Lovin’ Criminals, amongst many others. Hayley also worked a plethora of events in her time there, including The Brits, Kerrang! Awards and The Q Awards.

After 2 years she moved on to All About Promotions, where she worked with the likes of Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, Reel Big Fish and Gym Class Heroes. After a few years, Hayley made the decision to set up her own national TV and Radio company, joining forces with regional PR company Chuffmedia. After 3 successful years at Chuff, she now works at Public City PR.

Emma van Duyts | Founder of Public City PR

Emma’s publicity career began in the press department of Warner Bros Records in 1994 under the guidance of PR legend Barbara Charone and continued her career with Andy Prevezer.

At WB, Emma had the privilege of working with some of the biggest and best bands on the planet. From Green Day (Dookie – American Idiot), Linkin Park (Hybrid Theory and Meteora), Taking Back Sunday (Louder Now), and Glassjaw (Worship & Tribute) to a diverse range of acts such as William Orbit, Bootsy Collins, Jaheim, E-40, The Walkmen, Avenged Sevenfold, Jonathan Richman and many more.

Emma set up Public City in June 2007 and spearhead the publicity campaigns for the incredible artists on their roster such as Deftones (since the release of Adrenaline), UNKLE, Mastodon (Blood Mountain onwards), Henry Rollins (since 2007), Parkway Drive (since 2007), Public Enemy, Nova Twins, Beartooth (from the very beginning) and Good Charlotte among others.

The friend of Confetti and honorary degree recipient from Nottingham Trent University is renowned for his tireless work in the music and creative industries.
