Keith Martin’s 360 Talk & Immersive Experience

Keith will give a talk about the realities of filming in 360, showcase projects and gives the opportunity to experience his 360 films through an immersive experience using oculus headsets.

About

Keith Martin is an expert in graphic and interaction design, digital media & software development. He is the former president of IVRPA, the International Virtual Reality Professionals Association. He has created 360 software tools used industry wide by the likes of Facebook 360. Keith has written a number of books about design, typography and technology, including the Haynes Mac Manual.

With the push for more immersive experiences, Keith will give a talk about the realities of filming in 360 and highlight the new approaches needed in the production & filming process. He will demonstrate different interactive 360 projects and showcase an award-winning 360 VR documentary.

After the talk you will have the opportunity to experience the films in full 360 immersive view via oculus headsets.

There will be the chance to watch Keith and the MA Content Creation students filming a project.

This is a drop-in experience so there is no need to book.

This event will take place at Nottingham Trent Universities London campus in the Social Space.
