One of Belgium's foremost esports teachers and researchers, Liesbeth is here to share her insights into the European esports industry.

About

Liesbeth Last is a Belgian (Flemish) gamer, educational technologist, esports teacher, researcher and content contributor for the KU Leuven. To this end, she writes the monthly video game lesson impulses and is the host of a Podcast for teachers. In secondary education at KTA Bruges she teaches esports: this is the only school in Belgium to offer this training.

She is supported by a team and various partners from the business community. As a pedagogical educational technologist and in a constant dialogue with the idustry, she teaches students 21st century skills through esports, VR, game-based learning and deductive learning through video games. She is also active in European Schoolnet where she contributes on a regular basis to put the relevance of game-based learning and esports on the European policy map.
