About

Hailing from Bristol, Neil Davidge originally studied art before becoming a regular in the emergent local music scene, where he honed his craft as a producer, engineer and composer. First working with Massive Attack in 1996, Neil produced and co-wrote their seminal albums Mezzanine, 100th Window and Heligoland, helping to sculpt and define their critically acclaimed cinematic sound.

Davidge simultaneously forged his career as a hugely respected film composer scoring a wealth of lauded features, including his collaboration with Robert De Naja for Louis Leterrier & Luc Besson’s Unleashed, Paul McGuigan’s Push and Tia Lessin & Carl Deal’s award winning documentary Trouble The Water. He has also scored the worldwide best-selling computer game Halo 4, and high-end TV dramas like BBC/Hulu’s Hard Sun and Sky/Amazon’s Britannia.

Moving effortlessly from epic orchestral themes, driving guitar and unique electronic soundscapes, Neil’s scores demonstrate pulsing tension and his natural musical storytelling abilities delivered in his unsurpassed modern production style.

Neil has recently scored the Left Bank Pictures Windrush drama Sitting In Limbo, and the nine-part football documentary series All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur for Amazon Studios/72 Films.
