Otis Benjamin has worked in the live music industry for over ten years, building a career that started as a student at Confetti and developed into international touring. From the age of 14, he knew live music was the path he wanted to follow, and studying helped him understand how to turn that ambition into a real career.
After securing an in house role at Rock City, he gained hands on experience in live production, technical delivery and show management, working in a fast paced venue environment where practical skills developed quickly.
He later moved into touring internationally, working with artists including Two Door Cinema Club, Feeder, Massive Attack, Gabrielle, Wizkid, James Bay, Inhaler, Neck Deep, Frank Carter and Tom Grennan. Touring across five continents, he has worked on a wide range of productions, adapting to different teams, venues and creative setups.
His experience gives a clear view of how live shows come together, from planning and rehearsal through to delivering performances on stage, and shows how starting locally can lead to opportunities around the world.
